The slaughter of 11 Jews in a synagogue in Pittsburgh was exclusive evidence of the the regime tied to hatred, divisiveness, and antisemitism.
As a Jew, and as a prisoner of war in Germany, I have recounted this in many different ways. I have written about it in my book, "But You Made the Front Page", and on the pages of this website.
There has been, on this site, for sometime, the account of the Yad Vashem award dedication, which I attended. The highest award Israel gives a non-Jew For saving the life of a Jewish person during the war.
During the dedication, at the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, President Obama Spoke. Although his remarks have been posted for sometime, I want to feature it on the front page of our website to call your attention once more to these words that deal with these issues. Please listen to the seven minutes, and if you feel as I do, that they are a powerful reminder of who we are as Americans, please pass this along to as many people as you can. The country needs to hear his voice. Please click on the picture below for more.
